youth | 429 is our way to kickoff the week right! From 4:29 until 6:00pm each Sunday. Come and chill, play games, sing worship songs, and learn about Jesus with us!
Worldview Wednesdays Our "Worldview", or how we see the world, greatly impacts what we think, how we think, and who we will trust! Worldview Wednesdays are our time to focus on comparing the Bible with what our present culture wants you to believe! The videos are excellent and our discussion will be super valuable in not only preparing you for college and/or the real world, but helping you survive UNTIL then! Wednesday evenings from 6:30 until 7:50. We usually have free movie popcorn, too. :)
Our Retreats are always Christ-centered, and we always have a blast! Our Fall Retreat is scheduled for November 18-20, 2011 at Camp Wingmann near Avon Park, Florida! Registration is due no later than November 13th, and costs $95 for everything, though scholarships are available. Call Pastor Paul at the church office if you have any questions.
Our Paintball trips are tons of fun for even the most timid! . The cost is $25 if you sign up early (at least 3 days in advance) and includes lunch, drinks, and all your paint and gear. This is a very affordable and very fun time to bring your friends and introduce them to our youth group!
Camp Barnabas Mission Trip
This has become a highlight of the year for those ages 14 and up. Each summer we travel to Southwest Missouri to serve at Camp Barnabas, a summer camp for children with special needs. This is the same camp that was featured a few years ago on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Click here to watch a video from the 2010 trip!
30-Hour Famine
Once a year, we choose to not eat for 30 hours to raise money for children around the world who don't have the choice of eating. It takes surprisingly little money to feed a child in the poorer parts of the world (about $30 a month), and we get to experience a "taste" of hunger and poverty.
