WELCOME

We understand that raising children today can be difficult! We want to walk alongside you and your kids, as they learn all about Jesus in a way that they can understand. Our team is committed to not only teaching but showing your child Jesus’ love. We do this through relationship building, age-appropriate environments, creative teaching and fun experiences, all while taking every precaution to ensure the safety of your child.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

If you are attending our Sunday School at 9:00am, you can register your child in the Education Building. Our volunteers will have age appropriate materials that teach the Word and bring hope.

For our 10:30am service, families will worship together until right after a Children’s Moment in the main service. This Children’s Moment is designed to teach the gospel to children on their level, while connecting to the main message of the morning, so that the same theme is carried throughout all of our ministries on Sunday morning. After the Children’s Moment, children will then be released for Children’s Church with your permission. Marco Kids Ministry volunteers will be on hand to lead your child to their room for further age appropriate study of the Word of God, as well as lots of fun!

New to the church and unsure about letting your child leave? Your child is welcome to stay with you through the entire service. There are crayons, colored pencils, and sermon notes/activity sheets available in the worship space for your child to follow along throughout the service with you.

MARCO KIDS PROGRAMS

GOOD NEWS CLUB

Good News Club is a weekly, 90 minute, fun-filled club for elementary aged kids! Children learn Biblical principles and moral values through Bible lessons, scripture memorization, thrilling missionary stories, games, and more. But best of all they learn God’s plan of salvation: Jesus Christ our Savior.

COAST Wednesday Night

This weekly program is a VBS-style night jam packed with activities, games and a specially crafted Bible time tailored to impact all ages. Open to all elementary students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, this evening is offered several times throughout the year. Check the calendar for specific dates. Throughout the year, we’ll host several big events designed to help kids connect with their peers and adults that will help them grown in their faith. Events are often when kids will walk into our ministry for the first time.

WE SCREEN VOLUNTEERS

Before any volunteer is permitted to serve with us, they undergo a rigorous application and interview process, including criminal background check.

WE SET BOUNDARIES

We have set a number of guidelines for our youth ministry staff and volunteers. As a parent, you can help us make sure your child is well-cared for by helping us maintain these boundaries.

No staff member or volunteer should meet one-on-one with a student of the opposite gender.
No staff member or volunteer should transport a student of the opposite gender in a vehicle alone. If a student needs a ride, we must arrange to have another adult or student accompany them.
All staff members and volunteers must maintain appropriate physical boundaries with students at all times.

SAFETY IS A PRIORITY

We have a Child Safe Policy Manual that is given to every volunteer that you are welcome to see at any time that covers everything from leader/student interaction to social media conduct for volunteers.
