Mercy Ministry at Marco Church is sharing the love of God by moving together toward those who are lonely, hurting, and needing help through word and deed as Jesus modeled.
We equip lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one, distinctively Christian care to individuals in our congregation who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. JOY (Jesus Others & You) The idea for “JOY Connection” group was sparked by one of our sweet widows who has difficulty getting out early to Bible studies and does not feel comfortable driving alone at night.
JOYConnection meets each month on the 4th Wednesday (except in December) in the Fellowship Hall from 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm.
ALL ladies are welcome to share their JOY over lunch and fellowship. Options for fellowship include: Bible Study/Devotion/Prayer or playing games or conversations and working on various projects like making prayer shawls or helping with Operation Christmas child or viewing a movie together. Our goal is to be an encouragement to our wonderful widows and all of our Christian sisters.
Nursing Home Ministry
On the 1st and 4th Sunday at 3:00pm, MPC ministers to the residents at Barrington Terrace and Heritage Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Naples through Worship and Biblical devotion. All are welcome to join us as we bring worship to those residents of the body of Christ who cannot attend our regular worship services, but love the Lord. .

Prayer Shawl Ministry
“Our mission is to create prayer shawls while offering prayers for those in need of love and comfort.”
In 1998, Janet Bristow and Victoria Galo participated in a course on Women’s Leadership and felt challenged to begin this ministry. They used Psalm 139:13 “You knit me together in my mother’s womb” and felt that we are all continually being “knit” by God.
Our MPC Prayer Shawl Ministry has touched many of our church family members and friends. As we participate in this ministry, knitting or crocheting, we always pray, asking the Lord to meet the needs of whomever will be the recipient of our shawls.
