In 2015 Marco resident Oscar Galvez opened Wake Up Marco, the only locally owned coffee shop on the island. Since then Oscar has been supplying the community with organic, hand crafted coffee, tea and bakery items. For serious coffee lovers, you can purchase wholesale beans from areas across the world. Oscar is one-of-a-kind and has an amazing family that you will get to meet if you visit often enough. He feels that “good coffee doesn’t need sugar, and bad coffee doesn’t deserve it”…a true coffee connoisseur! We are lucky enough to serve Oscar’s coffee on Sunday mornings at Marco Church, so if you need more of that delicious coffee, stop by and see him during the week.
